To Tired to Train After a Long Day at the Office? Try This
You’ve had a crazy day at work. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, and you’ve spent the whole day putting out fires. Your exhausted and just want to plop on the couch with a glass of wine and forget about it. BUT that little nagging voice in the back of your head is telling you that you should go workout right?
Here’s what you need to do so you get the best of both!
Step 1: Determine what kind of mood your in. Do you want to smash it out hard and fast and burn off that frustration with an intense workout, or do you feel like you need to be gentle on yourself? There is no right or wrong answer here. Listen to your body and decide what route is going to best for you.
Step 2: Put on your workout clothes. Choose clothes that are going to make you feel good. On days like today you need to feel unstoppable!
Step 3: Put on some good music and Get moving! If you decided you need to be gentle on yourself try some pilates and stretching. If you wanted to sweat out your frustrations for the day try one of my quick interval workouts on youtube or this quick energy boosting workout. Either way, get moving for 15-20 minutes and allow yourself to dis-connect from the stress of your working day.
Step 4: Have a hot shower or run yourself a nice relaxing bath, cook yourself up a delicious meal full of nutritious veggies and protein then sit down with your glass of wine and enjoy!
